JCDecaux has been awarded a 10-year advertising concession at Denver International Airport (DEN), marking a significant expansion of the company’s airport media portfolio in North America. The agreement was granted following a competitive bidding process and is expected to begin in May 2026, pending approval from the Denver City Council.
Major Opportunity at One of the World’s Busiest Airports
Denver International Airport is one of the largest and fastest-growing aviation hubs in the United States. The airport served more than 82 million passengers in 2025, ranking among the 10 busiest airports worldwide by passenger traffic.
Under the new contract, JCDecaux North America will manage and modernize the airport’s advertising program across terminals and concourses. The project includes a comprehensive overhaul of existing media infrastructure and the deployment of advanced digital advertising formats throughout the airport.
Digital Media Network Planned Across the Airport
The advertising network will feature a state-of-the-art digital media platform, particularly within the recently redeveloped Great Hall and across all concourses at Denver International Airport. The program is designed to offer advertisers more dynamic and flexible campaigns while improving passenger engagement.
According to company executives, the modernization will introduce new high-impact display formats and digital technologies that enable targeted advertising and real-time campaign management.
Supporting Denver Airport’s Long-Term Growth
The new advertising partnership aligns with the airport’s long-term expansion strategy known as “Vision 100.” The plan aims to increase the airport’s capacity to 100 million passengers annually in the coming years as Denver continues to grow as a major international aviation hub.
By expanding its digital advertising capabilities, airport officials expect the program to generate increased non-aeronautical revenue, an important funding source for airport operations and infrastructure development.
Strengthening JCDecaux’s Global Airport Presence
For JCDecaux, the contract reinforces its leadership in transport and airport advertising. The company already operates advertising concessions at many of the world’s largest airports, part of a global network that reaches hundreds of millions of travelers each day.
Executives say the Denver project will create a premium media environment that reflects the airport’s growth and technological ambitions while providing brands with new ways to reach high-value travel audiences.
With the planned 2026 launch, the partnership is expected to transform Denver International Airport’s advertising landscape over the next decade.
