TECNO unveiled its new CAMON 50 Series smartphone lineup at Mobile World Congress 2026 and announced a major design collaboration with Italian luxury brand Tonino Lamborghini. The launch highlights TECNO’s strategy to expand its AI-driven mobile ecosystem and push further into premium consumer technology.

The announcement came during the company’s AI Ecosystem Products launch event at MWC, where executives showcased new devices and technologies designed to deliver what the brand calls “Practical AI for All.”

CAMON 50 Series Focuses on AI Photography

The CAMON 50 Series is TECNO’s newest flagship imaging lineup, combining professional-grade camera hardware with advanced artificial intelligence features. The phones use the AI RAW 2.0 imaging engine, which enhances photography through automated scene optimization and intelligent processing.

Key imaging features include:

  • AI Auto Zoom, which tracks subjects and adjusts framing automatically
  • Super-Zoom FlashSnap, designed to capture fast-moving action at long range
  • A 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 700C Ultra Night Camera sensor as the primary camera

Higher-end models such as the CAMON 50 Ultra 5G and CAMON 50 Pro also feature a 50-megapixel 3× telephoto lens capable of up to AI-assisted 60× SuperZoom.

The Ultra 5G version runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset and includes battery capacities up to 6500 mAh, along with enhanced water and dust resistance.

DXOMARK Recognition for Imaging Technology

TECNO’s imaging technology also drew attention from industry benchmarking firm DXOMARK.

According to DXOMARK CEO Frédéric Guichard, the CAMON 50 Ultra 5G’s imaging system delivers strong results for accurate and inclusive skin tone rendering, helped by TECNO’s proprietary Universal Tone technology.

The device is positioned as a competitive imaging smartphone in the sub-$600 price segment, targeting users who prioritize photography performance.

Luxury Design Partnership With Tonino Lamborghini

Alongside the smartphone launch, TECNO announced a global partnership with Tonino Lamborghini to merge luxury design with consumer technology. The collaboration introduces a new design language influenced by Italian craftsmanship and automotive-inspired aesthetics.

Among the first products revealed under the partnership are:

  • Tonino Lamborghini TECNO TAURUS (MEGA MINI G1 Pro), a compact gaming mini-PC featuring an Intel Core i9-13900HK processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics
  • POVA Metal Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition, described as the world’s first all-metal unibody 5G phone with a distinctive dot-matrix lighting system

Both products highlight the blend of high-performance hardware and luxury design elements that the collaboration aims to bring to future devices.

Expanding an AI-Driven Device Ecosystem

TECNO also showcased its broader AIoT ecosystem vision at MWC. The company displayed concept devices, including laptops, tablets, wearables, and connected products designed to work together through a unified AI-powered ecosystem.

Executives say these developments support the company’s strategy of integrating AI capabilities across multiple device categories while maintaining accessible pricing for global markets.

With the CAMON 50 Series launch, a luxury brand partnership, and new AI ecosystem devices, TECNO is positioning itself as an increasingly competitive player in the global smartphone and consumer electronics industry.
