BNEW, a hybrid, innovative and successful format
BNEW , created by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, successfully closed its first edition in Barcelona, which was the world headquarters of the new economy and whose objective was to promote global economic recovery. Next October, from 5 to 8, its second edition will be held.
With a completely innovative, 100% professional and hybrid B2B format, in its first edition it created a technological precedent in which more than 160 hours of online content were generated, divided into the five activity sectors present at the BNEW: Logistics, ‘and -Commerce ‘, Digital Industry, Economic Zones and’ Real Estate ‘.
This year the sectors will be doubled by adding new areas of a more transversal nature: ‘Mobility’, ‘Sustainable’, ‘Talent’, ‘Science’ and ‘City’.
In turn, it will once again have a 100% virtual ‘networking’ tool that uses artificial intelligence, with which participants share their agendas and which in 2020 allowed 23,271 virtual meetings to be held.
The first edition attracted the participation of 10,861 attendees, belonging to 111 different countries, 90% of which did so ‘online’. It is expected that in this second edition a high internationality will be maintained and the presence of first-level speakers will be expanded, going from 389 in 2020 to 700.
