The renowned progressive electronic multi-fusion group Elektragaaz has released a new EP titled “Your Own Private Cinema, Part 3,” following their recent immersive audio EP, “Kino Chatoyant.” The Dolby Atmos version of “Your Own Private Cinema, Part 3” is exclusively available for download at Immersive Audio Album, while the EP is also available in stereo on major music platforms and in CD quality on select platforms. The EP consists of six songs, including “Down at Mingo Junction,” “Her Living Face, Her Dead Eyes, Her Red, Red Lips,” “What the Watchman Saw,” “The Secret of the Old Summer House,” “Time Traveler,” and “Downtown Manhattan Midsummer.”
For those unfamiliar with spatial audio, such as Dolby Atmos, stereo creates a two-dimensional soundstage with sounds moving only from left to right, while spatial audio creates a three-dimensional bubble of sound, allowing sounds to come from all around, including above and behind the listener, providing an immersive experience. Elektragaaz’s music, known for its diverse sonic palette blending electronic and traditional instrumentation, seamlessly adapts to immersive audio.
Elektragaaz, founded in 2017, combines the electronic compositions of a mysterious and reclusive Frisian composer known as Poppo Redband with instrumental contributions from top musicians in the New York metropolitan area.
