KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – In a distinguished acknowledgment of his valuable contributions to the palm oil industry, Fusionex Founder and Group CEO, Datuk Seri Ivan Teh, has been granted an Honorary Fellowship by the Malaysian Oil Scientists’ and Technologists’ Association (MOSTA).
The prestigious award was bestowed upon Ivan Teh during the ‘Future of Palm Oil Industry’ event in Kuala Lumpur, where he was presented with the honor by MOSTA President Tan Sri Datuk Dr Augustine Ong Soon Hock. The ceremony was graced by the presence of YB Teresa Kok Suh Sim, the Malaysian Minister of Primary Industries, who delivered the keynote address.
As part of the event, informative sessions delved into the digitalization and modernization of the palm oil sector, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Industry Revolution (IR) 4.0. Experts, including representatives from Fusionex and Datuk Seri Ivan Teh, engaged with over 100 industry players, leaders, researchers, and scientists, discussing how technologies like Blockchain and Trade Facilitation could revolutionize the palm oil industry.
