The partnership aims to introduce the Metrojaya online marketplace, set to go live in early December, offering an enhanced and diversified shopping experience for consumers.
The signing ceremony, held at Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur, solidified the collaboration between MUI Group and Fusionex Group. Present at the event, MUI Group Chairman and CEO, Andrew Khoo, emphasized the importance of reinventing the Metrojaya brand to adapt to ever-evolving consumer dynamics.

According to Andrew Khoo, the Metrojaya online marketplace will operate as an omnichannel platform similar to Shopee, Lazada, and Zalora. In addition to the online marketplace, Andrew Khoo announced the upcoming launch of Metrojaya’s mobile app, designed to reward customers through redemptions, while enhancing customer engagement through promotions and activities.
