At the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Building Systems Housing Summit in Washington, D.C., Quartz Properties won two awards. They were named Offsite Construction Specialty Awards Builder of the Year and received the Building Systems Council (BSC) Jerry Rouleau Award for Excellence in Home Design for their project “The Grays.”

The accolades recognize the impact Quartz is making across the residential modular construction space. “Every award we receive is a validation of our team’s dedication, vision, and hard work. It’s an honor to be acknowledged for our contribution to the industry,” said Quartz Founder and CEO Joanna Schwartz. The company was also named Offsite Builder of the Year in 2022. This is its first time receiving home design recognition.

Quartz Properties, established in 2017, is committed to the growth and triumph of offsite residential construction. The NAHB awards recognize the recent initiatives taken by Quartz, which comprises an expanded range of offerings and additions to a catalog of home designs that facilitate modular success.

Quartz Transport, a transportation and set business, was launched by Quartz after identifying a lack of services that support offsite construction. The vertically integrated company is also expanding its North Carolina-based construction subsidiary, Quartz Modular. In addition, Quartz is teaming up with offsite experts Module to create a comprehensive training program that focuses on modular home setting services. Currently, there is very little professional training available for this service.

David Roover, Chief Growth Officer and Partner at Quartz Properties, who oversees both endeavors, expressed his excitement about the wins: “We’re thrilled to be recognized for our dedication to raising the bar in the modular construction industry.”

Quartz has been honored with the BSC Jerry Rouleau Awards for Home Design Modular Construction, for their stunning house named The Grays. The award was given in the category of houses under 2,000 sq. ft. The Grays is one of the four floor plans available in the Quartz at Poncha Meadows community, situated in Poncha Springs, Colorado. Built by the Fading West Building Systems, The Grays is a mid-sized mountain modern home that boasts a breathtaking location. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, this 1,800-sq-ft. house offers an open and flexible layout with ample storage space and stunning scenic views.
