Robbie Antonio’s Artful Living

Robbie Antonio's Artful Living

Visualize this. Gleaming glass windows that shine and sparkle as it is hit with the rays of the sun, lined row after row after row along one side of its wall, replicated on the other sides three times over illuminating its interiors and bringing the verdant lush green of its surrounding areas inside. Pristine white facades with polygon-like lines accenting its exterior wall, dramatic dropping lines, slanting flat roofs, whimsical ultra-modern designs. This is just a sampling of what real estate visionary Robbie Antonio brings to the table.

A blending of diverse concepts, intricacy of design, and architectural complexity, making luxurious living, flexible and livable spaces that leans towards the high end of the scale more accessible to many. A simple and revolutionary idea of democratizing design in real estate which is the guiding principle of his company, Revolution Precrafted.

A lover of art, he is the youngest and most prolific collector of international modern and post-war contemporary art in the world. Robbie also has several awards tucked away under his belt because of his accomplishments as an art collector. Artnet recognized him as one of the ‘20 of the World’s Most Innovative Art Collectors’ of 2014, in 2015 and subsequently the following year later, he was included as part of Artnet’s ‘Top 200 Art Collectors Worldwide’. Artnet also named him in 2016 as one of the ‘Twelve young art collectors to watch out for’, as well as ‘Top 100 art collectors’ for that year. He was also recognized by BuiltWorlds in 2018 in its Mavericks Report as one of ‘25 Pioneers Who’ve Transformed the Built Industry’. PropertyGuru named him ‘Real Estate Personality of the Year’ in May 2018.

“I always want to work with the best people in the world, whether it is business, politics, art, because that makes you a better person . . . You learn from the best and it’s a privilege. I want to impart that to the world.”

He has collaborated with artists from all over the world, namely Marina Abramovich, Maurizio Catellan, Francesco Clemente, Damien Hirst, Zhang Huan, David La Chapelle, Marilyn Minter, Takashi Murakami, Julian Opie, and Julian Schnabel. Worked with Pritzker Prize Architects Zaha Hadid, Philip Johnson Alan Ritchie, Rem Koolhaas, Jean Nouvel, I.M. During his time as manager of Century Properties, it was his responsibility to establish luxury branded real estate developments around the world, such as the Milano Residences by Versace, Acqua Livingstone by Missoni Home, Azure by Paris Hilton, Forbes Media Tower, Armani for Century Spire, and the Trump Tower.

He brought together over 80 of the world’s leading architects, artists, and designers including Sou Fujimoto, David Salle and celebrities such as Daphne Guinness, Helena Christensen & Camilla Stærk and Amar’e Stoudemire. Fast forward to today, his sole and only focus is on his company Revolution Precrafted. It was founded on December 2015, and is declared as the first and only unicorn company in the Philippines. It supplies transportable, customizable, exclusive pre-fabricated homes, pavilions, and other structures. He likens it to a Lego set that can be built off-site, something that is customizable and considered as art pieces at the same time. Buyers can customize the builds to suit their specific wants and desires. They can turn it into a little private museum, library, performance area, nightclub or a big restaurant.

He considers Revolution Precrafted as the ‘Ikea of Homes’ for their plug and play simplicity, the “Tesla of Homes” because his work is not just a home but an entire platform of ideas and technologies. He eventually wants to turn the company into a platform for a smart home and to pre-craft homes for disaster hit areas, something that can be erected quickly to serve as relief camps. The company is on its way to building a “Revolution Community” as intended by its founder. A community where one can enjoy museums, cultural places, and distinctive art without even visiting the actual place.

“I’ve worked with 13 Pritzker Prize architects, possibly more than any human being in the world. We have intellectual property over all these names, you can get them at a ridiculously high price and wait a number of years, or get it from us in three months at a much cheaper price,” Robbie explains.

Revolution Precrafted has secured $8.7 Billion in projected revenues for its ongoing projects in the US, Philippines, Myanmar, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Indonesia, Jamaica, Guyana, Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Peru, Nepal, El Salvador, Brazil, Cyprus, Mauritius, Seychelles, India, Indonesia and Japan, Australia, Zimbabwe.

One project of Revolutionary Precrafted is the Batulao Artscapes in Batangas. Launched on December 2017, it is the first ever livable art park where you can make your home among world class art from topnotch designers, artists and architects. Featuring museums and homes that embody the marriage of art, architecture and design. Designed by Pritzker Prize architects Jean Nouvel, Tange Associates, Christian de Portzamparc and Philip Johnson Alan Ritchie. The community boasts of more than 8,600 homes, with a sports park, a man-made lake, and a flavor park.

Flavorscapes is another residential project of the company in Central Philippines. Worth $750 million, it features a Museum of Ice Cream, Museum of Candy, Chocolate Gallery, Microbrewery and Beer Garden alongside thousands of residential homes. The prefab industry is expected to grow rapidly in the next 3-7 years and the company is all set on the leaving a global footprint.
